Cancellation Policies
Groundwork makes commitments and other financial decisions on behalf of participants in advance of the program based upon enrollment, so there are financial responsibilities that each registrant is accountable for in cases of participant cancellation. Our cancelation policies apply in all cases, regardless of the reason the participant chooses to cancel their participation in the program.
Our cancellation policies can be found at this link.
Program Cancellation
If Groundwork cancels a program for any reason, Groundwork will do its best to refund tuition that has not been invested into course preparation. At its sole discretion, Groundwork may retain up to 35% of tuition based on costs incurred to prepare a program.
Canceling Enrollment
Groundwork reserves the right to cancel your enrollment if you miss your payment or paperwork deadlines, in which case all cancellation policies above apply.
Dismissal
Groundwork reserves the right to dismiss, at our organization’s sole discretion, program participants for violations of our policies and agreements.
Leaving a Program
If you need to leave a program for any reason, whether due to factors out of your control (medical evacuation) or personal decision, tuition is non-refundable.
Admission Policies
For programs and courses with review process, including competitive application processes and field courses with a health review process, final acceptance to a Groundwork course is contingent upon the receipt and review of the required materials.
Our health review process helps us support students’ health and safety and determine whether a current condition is appropriate at Groundwork. It’s important that you provide accurate and honest health information so we can learn of conditions that our instructors need to know about. Our admissions staff may need to further discuss health issues with you, your parent, or your health care provider. Groundwork reserves the right to deny admission to anyone that Groundwork, in its sole discretion, believes is unable to meet the physical, psychological, cognitive, social, or safety demands of our courses.
You can learn more about our admission criteria by contacting our administration.
Equal Opportunity
Groundwork is committed to building an inclusive community based on equity: a space created with people from all backgrounds in mind. Groundwork does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, genetics information, disability unrelated to job or admission requirements, or veteran status. Our nondiscrimination policy applies to all phases of its employment process, its admission and financial aid programs, and to all other aspects of its educational programs and activities. Retaliation directed to any person who pursues a discrimination complaint or grievance, participates in a discrimination investigation, or otherwise opposes unlawful discrimination is prohibited. Please contact us with any questions.
Promotion Policies
Groundwork uses students’ names, photos, and other images in promotional material, videos, and press releases.
