A conversation with Judith Simmer-Brown, a Buddhist teacher and professor of Contemplative and Religious Studies at Naropa University. The conversation is wide-ranging, focusing on the overlap between Buddhist teachings and environmental action, our views of our relationship with the Earth, and finding hope in challenging times. This conversation was moderated by Emily Takahashi, an environmental activist and the daughter of Charles David Keeling, whose work on greenhouse gases led to the Keeling Curve, that squiggly line charting the increasing concentration of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.
