About Homeschooling

Education provided through this program falls under homeschool laws as overseen by the Colorado Department of Education. As a licensed teacher in the State of Colorado, Jenna Bradford is qualified to teach homeschooled students.

Home school programs must have no less than 172 days of instruction, averaging 4 contact hours per day. — Colorado Department of Education

The proposed schedule below includes 5 hours per day with 124 days of instruction. With homework, reading and extended days for field trips, students should surpass the above requirement. Families are encouraged to consider enrolling students in additional classes, activities, and take intentional trips to museums or other educational sites to round out the experience of the student. You may contact PK-8, HK-8, The Learning Council, and Vision about more options. It is ultimately the parent’s responsibility to ensure all requirements are met.
